We're recording this one. In the meantime, the written summary below covers the same information.
Written summary
Medicare has four parts. Part A covers hospital stays. Part B covers doctor visits and outpatient care.
Part C, also called Medicare Advantage, is an all-in-one plan offered by private insurance companies.
Part D covers prescription drugs. Most people get Part D either as a stand-alone plan or built into a Medicare Advantage plan.
Picking the right combination depends on the doctors you see, the medications you take, and where you live.
